| Synopsis Der Parrot Room erzählt die Geschichte von Bruno. Er ist ein Mann, der dauernd von Bilder seines Begehrens verfolgt wird und deshalb eine Strategie zum Leben entwickelt; seine Erfahrungen durch Fantasien zu machen oder durch die Erfahrung von Anderen. Während des Films erschafft Bruno einen Leerraum von Simulationen, wo der Schmerz über seine unerreichten Begehren ihn nicht erreichen kann. The parrot room tells the story of Bruno. He is a man constantly haunted by the images of his desires and so he has adopted a strategy of life, experiencing only through fantasy and the experience of others. Through out the film, Bruno creates an empty space of simulations where the pain of his unresolved desires can't reach him. The character Bruno in the story is inspired by Michel Houllebecq's novel "Atomised". |
